Openly through the river is Thonburi which obliged a short-lived
term as the Thai capital after the collapse of Ayutthaya. Nowadays the zone beside
the river is straightforwardly accessed from Bangkok’s ferries. Moreover there
are a lot of museums and temples here that are historic accompaniments to those
in Ko Ratanakosin.
